Joint Fire in Salt Lake City responded to a tractor trailer that struck a concrete barrier, rolled over and caught fire on westbound I-80 in Parleys Canyon, one mile east of South Quarry, before 7:30 a.m.

Two passengers were transported with non-fatal injuries and the fire broke out, fire officials said.

A UDOT alert said westbound lanes through Parley Canyon may be closed until 10 p.m. and traffic is being diverted.

Unified Fire said HazMat crews remained on scene.
