Altoona Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred early Sunday morning.

Although details are limited at this time, the Altoona Police Department said in a Facebook post that the crash involved one vehicle and occurred around 4 a.m. near 10th Avenue and 9th Avenue.

There is no information yet about the number of people in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
