A man has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing a woman and her two children in London.

Police were called to reports of attacks on a two-year-old boy, an eight-year-old girl and a woman in her 30s in Dagenham, east London, at around 5.35pm on Friday.

Police identified 3 people injured with a knife. While the women and children who were taken to the hospital are being treated, their condition is not life-threatening.

The Metropolitan Police added that everyone involved knew each other.

Police said Kulvinder Ram, 48, was due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday on three charges of attempted murder.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Ram was arrested following a stabbing in First Avenue, Dagenham, on Friday, October 25.

“Three people, a woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy, were found with stab wounds. “All three were hospitalized and treated.”
