WEST MIAMI – A fatal crash on the Palmetto Expressway early Sunday morning closed all southbound lanes.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say one is dead.

Southbound lanes are closed at SW 8th Street.

A sedan with a broken window was seen on the road.

Emergency teams are also at the scene.

Dispatch told CBS News Miami that troopers diverted traffic on the Dolphin Expressway.

It is unclear what caused the accident.
