A judge criticized federal agents for leaking details about Diddy’s sex trafficking investigation and issuing a gag order to protect the integrity of the trial.

After hundreds of trials, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs scored a small win in court when the judge harshly criticized several federal agents suspected of leaking information about the mogul’s sex trafficking investigation. Twice denied bail, the rapper is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn.

Court criticizes federal government for speech ban

The court’s slap in the face with the feds comes after recent documents and photos shared by The Post revealed a trove of evidence about Diddy’s escapades. The outlet reported that a federal law enforcement official described the freaks as their source, “disgusting scum,” which led the court to issue a gag order in response.

late on Friday, Manhattan Federal judge Arun Subramanian issued a gag order for all federal prosecutors and other officials involved in the case. The order warned recipients to refrain from sharing any non-public information about the case from grand jury decisions that might interfere with a fair trial. Additionally, as the New York Post reported, buyers were asked to comply with existing laws regarding this.

“These remarks are clearly inappropriate if made by an agent involved in the investigation or prosecution of this case,” Subramanian wrote. The judge added: “To be clear, this order is not based on a finding of any wrongdoing to date, as the court has not made any findings at this point regarding (Diddy’s) allegations that information about the case was stolen and leaked.”

He emphasized: “The purpose of this order is to ensure that nothing happens that would hinder a fair trial from now on. “The court will take the necessary measures in case of violation of the rules.”

Diddy’s lawyer’s request

Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers requested a hearing on allegations that Department of Homeland Security agents leaked damaging footage from 2016 that showed Diddy attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway. The pending hearing is intended to prevent federal authorities from sharing more information about the criminal case with the media.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all counts filed against him and is awaiting trial, scheduled for May 5, 2025.
