Caitlin Clark may not have won a national championship at Iowa, but she still earned some serious hardware during her senior season in college.

The Indiana Fever star returned to her old school on Saturday to receive rings celebrating the Hawkeyes’ 2024 Big Ten championship and the team’s appearance in the Final Four of the 2024 NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Clark and his teammates celebrated with Iowa football’s Kid Captain before the home team’s game against Northwestern on Saturday afternoon.

Clark played four seasons at Iowa from 2020 to 2024 before the Fever selected her with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.

She returned to Iowa City to join former Iowa players including Las Vegas Aces guard Kate Martin and former Hawkeyes star Gabbie Marshall. retired He left basketball to go to graduate school to celebrate the 2023-24 team.

He averaged 30 points in five tournament games, including a 41-point outing to knock off defending champion LSU in the Elite Eight to propel the Hawkeyes to the national championship game against South Carolina.

Her final collegiate game may have ended in a 75-87 loss, but Clark left Iowa anyway and proved to be the most prolific scorer in men’s and women’s college basketball history with 3,951 career points.
