Apologies to Wendy’s, but where’s the beef? – IJR

Daily Caller News Foundation

Midnight comedian Stephen Colbert Vice President Kamala Harris: “Polls show that a lot of people, especially independent voters, really want this to be an election for change. And that they tend to break down for you in terms of thinking about change. You are a member of the current administration. What would be the big changes under a Harris administration? So what would stay the same?

Harris: “Sure. “So obviously I am not Joe Biden.”

Colbert: “I noticed.”

Harris: “And that would be a change. I also think it’s important to say, with 28 days left, I’m not Donald Trump. And so, when we think about what the next generation of leadership will look like if I’m elected president, it comes down to this; Frankly, I love the American people and believe in our country. I love that it is our character and nature to be ambitious people. “You know, we have passions, we have dreams, we have an incredible work ethic.”

According to a recent survey, 79% of voters don’t exactly sound like music to their ears. Marquette University survey I think the country is on the “wrong track”.

When it comes to trust, voters give Harris the edge over former President Donald Trump. This is the reason for Harris’ claim. Summer job at McDonald’s becomes relevant. Won’t he just give up his previous positions on issues like these? breakMedicare for All, by promising to sign a contract compensations invoice and oblige Sales of gas-powered vehicles are due to end by 2035, but is he going to make up a job at a burger joint to make himself more relatable?

Harris said nothing about working at McDonald’s while running for district attorney, California attorney general, U.S. Senate or presidential candidacy during the last election cycle. He wrote nothing about this experience in his books (more on this later). But suddenly he remembers once throwing fries at McDonald’s.

But apologies to Wendy’s, where’s the beef? Trump “without evidence” wrote The New York Times accuses Harris of lying. Trump on stage clever photo op “Working at McDonald’s was a big part of his resume,” he said, cooking fries and working at the drive-through window at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania; What a difficult job it was. He… made his fries and talked about the heat: ‘It was so hard.’ He never worked at McDonald’s.”

If Trump had said he was feeding pigeons in Central Park, the New York Times would have demanded evidence and assigned a cascade of reporters to debunk his story. But when it comes to Harris’ McDonald’s story, the burden of proof shifts to Trump. where he evidence? He offers nothing but his beautiful memories, which he suddenly and conveniently rediscovers. McDonald’s offered no verification: “(We) and our franchisees have no records for all positions dating back to the early 80s…”

What’s next? Will Democrats demand that Trump be impeached for working at McDonald’s without a hairnet and pressure President Joe Biden to appoint a special prosecutor?

Harris describes her upbringing as “middle class.” However based on The daughter of a tenured Stanford economics professor father and a biochemist mother has been accepted to law school under a program for students who are “educational disadvantaged, economically distressed or disabled,” according to The Daily Signal. What? And he wants student loan forgiveness in addition to compensation?

As for Harris’ book and the accusations of plagiarism, Telegram writes: “Kamala Harris has been embroiled in a second plagiarism controversy after being accused of copying a Republican’s congressional testimony. The vice president was accused last week of plagiarizing more than a dozen chapters of his book, ‘Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer’; among them was once Martin Luther King Jr. There was also a story told by.”

“New allegations have emerged that the now-former prosecutor removed more than 1,000 words from the testimony of a Republican state attorney when he was called as a witness before Congress,” the report continued.

These are not good days before the election.

This brings us to Harris’ state newspaper, the Los Angeles Times. The newspaper refused to endorse him after backing every Democratic presidential candidate since 2008. did no confirmation.

But at least the Times I didn’t call him “The black face of white supremacy.”
