Georgia flips former North Carolina in-state LB commit in Class of 2025

Georgia finalized the signing of former North Carolina standout Anthony Kruah on Saturday morning, the Bulldogs’ 24th commitment of the 2025 season.

Kruah stands at 6-2, 215 and hails from Marietta High School just north of Atlanta. As you can see below, Kruah has been committed to the Tar Heels since April 2024.

Kruah is a senior 3-star prospect ranked 531st overall in the Class of 2025, who is also considered Georgia’s 54th LB and 64th player. He joins 5-star linebacker Zayden Walker as the second linebacker to join the Bulldogs this cycle.

Kruah’s main skill on the field is to move the passer away from the perimeter. He had 2 forced fumbles, 5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss in his first season in Marietta. He also returned an interception for a touchdown.

Georgia currently sits at No. 3 overall in the 2025 cycle, behind only Alabama and Ohio State.
