The last weekend before Halloween offers many attractions and a favorite time of fall for all ages.

Lincoln Mill Haunted House

Lincoln Mill, 4100 Main St., Manayunk, features more than 40 scare actors, production-quality sets, props, animatronics and special effects such as fog, strobes and flashing lights. It will last until November 2.

The attraction is intended to be scary. The owners want this place to be the scariest haunted house in the area.

There are three new rooms and scenes for the season. There are also upgrades to many other areas of the attraction, including new illusions and special effects.

There will be new beverage and food vendors, including an on-site brewery. There are also new photo opportunities, a new Mill Merch store and a new pre-show video shown on a 20-foot-wide projection screen.

There’s a lot going on in Manayunk

Manayunk’s annual Main Street Trick-or-Treat and Pretzel Park Farmers’ Market Costume Parade is October 26.

Start your day at the Pretzel Park Farmers Market’s Costume Parade. The parade will march down Main Street in time for trick-or-treating at select small businesses from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Also check out The Afterlife at Amor at Taqueria Amor. This pop-up invites you into a strange and unusual world.

They’re back in ghastly striped fashion, with quirky cocktails, dinner party snacks, Beetlejuice-themed decor and a light show. I’m running until Halloween night.

Fat Lady Brewing & Intrins Inq will host Queering Fear. Horror and strange experience, doors open at 14:30 on October 27

The event will include a film, drag performance, panel discussion, vendors and a costume contest with prizes

Join Manayunk Brewing Co. for Brew’s + Boo’s Halloween Costume Party from 9pm to 1am on Halloween night. There is a $10 cover charge, which includes a drink ticket, music, three open bars, prizes and more.

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, 6452 Greene St., presents the Family Haunted Circus Spectacular on Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m.

This PG-13 show will showcase Performance Prep and Youth Group and even a group choreography demonstration that is a real crowd pleaser. The perfect blend of excitement and chills, ideal for teens and adults who want a family-friendly environment without causing nightmares.

The Adult Haunted Circus Show takes over the school from 20.00. This show is not for the faint of heart or the prudish, but perfect for those who enjoy entertainment with a touch of fear and a dash of risk.

The performers will put on a spectacular show, spinning tales of horror wrapped in sultry charm. So, if you’re ready for some loud, naughty and nightmare-inducing fun, this program is literally screaming your name.

Tickets for all shows are 20 TL for adults and 15 TL for youth at the door.

Halloween Boo Brunch

Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti, 212 Walnut St., 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, continues its new and trendy-themed “cool” brunches with an Oct. 27 Halloween party.

Harry’s will transform into a haunted pirate lair, complete with creepy decor, spooky lighting and a setting that will raise the dead, until November 2nd.

Working hours are Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 21.00, Friday from noon to 22.00, Saturday from 8.00 to 23.00 and Sunday from 08.00 to 21.00.

“Following the incredible success of Harry’s Jingle Bar (Christmas Pop-up) in 2023, we are back with Cape May’s first Halloween-themed bar,” said Dan Alicea, Owner of Madison Resorts. “Our team had so much fun with Jingle Bar, and the community response was so amazing that we immediately said we wanted to offer a Halloween twist on the idea.”
