Deputies outside Germantown High School

GERMANTOWN, Wis. – Germantown police, Washington County sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement surrounded Germantown High School on Friday night, October 25.

The Germantown Police Department tells FOX6 News there was a report of a person with a gun. It is unclear whether any people or weapons were found.

A deputy who spoke to FOX6 News at the scene said things were “just about safe” and that they were “sweeping the inside of the school.”

At the scene, FOX6 News saw armed officers at a window and a drone flying around the building.
