In case you haven’t heard, Brandon Barash is leaving. Days of Our Livesand what is Days‘may be lost’ ‘General Hospital’earnings.

Before portraying Stefan DiMera on the Peacock series, Barash wowed many daytime TV fans with his one and only role as Johnny Zacchara. like my son (Maurice Benard) was a major kingpin of Port Charles and was as attractive as he was dangerous. Although Sonny and Johnny never managed to become friends (for a time, the Zacchara family were Sonny’s mortal enemies), the two men actually shared some common ground when it came to family and friends. Both Sonny and Johnny have a romantic relationship carly (Laura Wright) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Johnny were once friends with Sonny’s daughter Kristina.

Also, Johnny has a connection to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu. He was good friends with the former and had once dated the latter. We bring up all of these connections to reiterate the point that Johnny has many ties to Port Charles that could bring him back to the city.

Now let’s focus on Johnny’s connection to Lulu. Alexa Havins is set to take over the role of Lulu, presumably after waking up from her miraculous transplant surgery. Sam (Kelly Monaco), many General Hospital fans think Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu are heading towards reconciliation.

But with Sam near death from surgery, we don’t know if Dante would be so eager to reunite with his ex. He’ll probably feel guilty about his current love sacrificing his life for his old love, and this guilt could pose a problem for him and Lulu.

So it might be interesting if Johnny shows up again and makes Dante and Lulu’s meeting even more difficult. Johnny is another suitable romantic partner for Lulu.

Some of you may be questioning how Johnny could resurface, considering he was last seen being convicted of murder in Pentonville. Thanks to soap magic, we know that prison sentences for criminals rarely last forever, and many do not receive full sentences. Heather Webber‘s (Alley Mills) latest release is a perfect example. So there is a world where he is released early. And who knows, with it Jason (Steve Burton) was still reluctant to work for Brennan (Charles Mesure), maybe Brennan could hire Johnny at WSB. It’s worth noting that Johnny and Jason have similar skills.

To be clear, Barash is coming back General Hospital It’s all wishful thinking at this point, but we can only hope.
