CHATFIELD, Minn. (KTTC) – A 79-year-old passenger and a 17-year-old driver were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday.

Around 7:20 a.m., a Chevy Equinox and a Mitsubishi Mirage collided while traveling northbound on Highway 52 near Chatfield, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The 17-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi was transported to Mayo Clinic Saint Marys Hospital for an unknown condition.

The Equinox’s 79-year-old passenger was also transported to Mayo Clinic with minor injuries. The driver escaped uninjured.
