TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Officers TPD Suspected attacker arrested in an operation Murder at a Toledo restaurant in September.

Officers arrested 27-year-old Deontae Mitchell on Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault and murder. Another man who police allege acted as the getaway driver arrested on the same charges and he did not admit his guilt.

According to police, Isiah Pressley was among the crowd at the “This Is It BBQ” restaurant on Detroit Avenue on Sept. 14 when gunshots rang out. The person, who was hit in the face, died in the hospital where he was taken.

Police allege that the driver who helped the attacker was Smith. They say he picked up Mitchell after an argument at the restaurant. After driving around the block, he parked just north of the bar and Mitchell allegedly got out and attacked Pressley, firing multiple shots into the crowd.

The duo then fled the scene in their black Dodge Charger.

Months after calling MitchellTPD arrested him on November 6. He will appear in court later this morning.
