BISMARCK, ND (KFYR/Gray News) – North Dakota police are investigating the death of a child who was struck by a vehicle.

Mandan police said Wednesday afternoon officers responded to a home where a 3-year-old child had reportedly fallen from a vehicle.

Police said the driver did not realize the child had fallen out of the vehicle and hit him.

It was determined that the child who was taken to the hospital died. The child’s identity and age were not disclosed.

Mandan police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
