ORLEANS COUNTY, NY — The Medina Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred overnight Friday through Saturday in the canal basin.

Police are still gathering information, but in a post on social media they asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact the Medina Police Department. They are asking business owners who have cameras downtown to speak with an officer to allow them to review the video. Call (585) 589-5527 and ask to speak to an officer.
