PERRYTON, Texas (KFDA) – A teenage male has been arrested for the murder of Joni Lynn Morgan, according to the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the young man was taken into custody on Thursday, October 31.

62 years old Joni Lynn Morgan‘s body was found in a field northeast of Perryton on Tuesday, October 29th.

The body was located north of Rodeo Nights, a nightclub in Perryton.

Authorities have not released the cause of death at this time and an autopsy has been ordered.
