Buffalo Bills beat Seattle Seahawks 31-10

Bills head coach Sean McDermott watches a replay of the first half at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Oct. 20, 2024.

Let’s leave this to the staff. The entire game plan worked smoothly on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo took control of the game early and imposed its will on the Seahawks.

Offensive coordinator Joe Brady put together another game plan that found success both through the air and on the ground. The Bills kept the drives going, completing 8 of 15 on third down. Multiple receivers were involved in the passing attack, giving Allen several good options in the aerial attack. The running game controlled the point of attack and the run calls were effective.

Defensively, coordinator Bobby Babich and head coach Sean McDermott put together a plan to shut down the Seattle offense. Without Metcalf, the Seahawks were without their most dynamic player. The Bills have shut down every other option on offense. Once Buffalo took the lead, the running game was now out of the equation.

Buffalo’s only flaw was its problems with the flags. Once again, the Bills spent plenty of time with the refs. In this game, the Bills committed 13 penalties for 85 yards.
