    IDF discovers Hezbollah terrorist training center next to UNIFIL outpost

    IDF Soldiers in Lebanon discovered a Hezbollah terrorist training center just 200 meters from the outpost of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the IDF announced on Friday.

    The discovery occurred during one of the 9th Reserve Brigade’s many raids against Hezbollah’s terrorist and underground infrastructure.

    Hezbollah’s terrorist training center is nearby UNIVERB The IDF said the base was used by Hezbollah for training, inspection and storing large quantities of weapons.

    Discoveries inside the base

    The IDF added that the facility contained missile launchers for firing at Israeli communities.

    IDF troops also seized detailed documentation and training books. Hezbollah operational methods, maps of Israel, descriptions of IDF equipment, as well as tunnel shafts and additional weapons.

    Before leaving, all weapons were confiscated and the compound was dismantled.
