Boy throws magnet deep into Ganges to collect coins, netizens say ‘ana be join karne wala hu…’

One of India’s holiest rivers—ganges—it is not only a river prayed to by people, but also a river where millions of Indians perform various religious rituals. Besides quenching the thirst of the people, the Ganga river also provides irrigation water to farmers.

From religious beliefs, Hindus and other Indians believe that bathing in the Ganges river washes away all sins. It is also believed that the holy river fulfills the wishes of devotees if anyone donates coins to its waters.

While devotees were donating coins to the water, a few people were seen taking these donated coins from the river. These people use magnets to remove coins and other metallic objects. This has become the source of income for many families.

Recently a video went viral On social media, a child can be seen taking his boat to the middle of the river and throwing a magnet into the water. He ties the magnet to a rope, throws it in, and waits patiently for it to sink into the river bed. He gently pulls the magnet and smiles when he sees the coins sticking to it.

Speaking on camera, the boy appeared excited and said his family was surviving solely on money from the magnet. He even stated that he occasionally found gold and silver items.

After the video shared on InstagramIt garnered 6.2 million views. Many people commented on the video.
