New York Knicks upset after loss to Atlanta Hawks

The New York Knicks ended their journey in failure after losing 121-116 to the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.

Although the Knicks tied the game at the end of the third quarter, they could not withstand the Hawks’ run at the end of the game. The Knicks also took a five-point lead with just over two minutes left in the game, but the Hawks finished the game on a 16-6 streak.

Knicks Forward Josh Hart emphasized the importance of closing out tight games.

“We have come to the end of a long journey, we left feeling weak” Hart said h/t Submission and Roasting. “We let them play the way they wanted offensively and we weren’t lively offensively. I think we had like 15 turnovers during the day. We must find a way. This game is definitely winnable at the end. “We need to be able to put teams away at the end of close games.”

Coach Tom Thibodeau also offered the Knicks a solution on how to avoid teams entering games at the start.

“We have to close better,” Thibodeau said. “We’ve got to defend, we’ve got to rebound and we’ve got to keep our turnovers down. If we do those three things, you’re in position to win.”

Although Knicks Even though Jalen Brunson is facing a loss, he’s still looking at the bigger picture.

“We’re moving in the right direction,” Brunson said. “I can’t focus on the opinions of people on the outside. Focus on what we believe is happening; how can we fix this together? We see each other every day and we work together. So we know what’s going on between those lines.”

Knicks They will take the field again tomorrow against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
