Predicting every Big Ten football score from Week 11

Week 11 is upon us and six Big Ten games will be played this weekend. It all starts Friday night when Iowa travels to UCLA for its first game of the weekend. Five games will then be played from noon until prime time.

There won’t be any top 25 games this weekend, but there are definitely a few games to keep an eye on. Here’s what I think will happen in all six games.

UCLA has won two games in a row and looks much better, but so has Iowa. The Hawkeyes actually score in bunches. Iowa continues to have a solid defense and if Brendan Sullivan can continue to help Iowa score, the Hawkeyes will be in for a tough challenge.

Final score: Iowa 31, UCLA 21

Ohio State has won two close games and the Buckeyes are pulling for a big win. This week is the week to do that. The Boilermakers continue to struggle, with Purdue only hoping to close a massive 38-point lead.

Final score: Ohio State 41, Purdue 7

I lost all faith in Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights have lost their last four after starting 4-0. It’s not an easy task for Rutgers, now that they have to face a hot Minnesota team. The Gophers have won four straight and Max Brosmer has been really good.

Final score: Minnesota 27, Rutgers 20

When Curt Cignetti took over at Indiana, he made an interesting comment during a Hoosiers basketball game. “Purdue sucks, but Ohio State and Michigan suck, too.” Cignetti will want to bring him in this week after this comment. The Hoosiers are playing as well as anyone in the country, while Michigan has plenty of competition. Unless Michigan plays up to its talent and standard, I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Final score: Indiana 38, Michigan 17

I thought Maryland would compete with Oregon at some point this year, but the Terps are playing terrible and the Ducks are the top-ranked team in the country. Unless Oregon loses this game by itself, Maryland has no chance.

Final score: Oregon 35, Maryland 14

Am I crazy enough to consider Penn State? it could be Will you lose this game? The Nittany Lions haven’t been good lately. USC took PSU to overtime and then the Nittany Lions looked weak offensively against Ohio State. The Huskies beat USC and Washington is fully capable of putting together some offense. I’ll choose Penn State, but I think Washington will handle it.

Final score: Penn State 24, Washington 17
