“At approximately 2:30 a.m., troopers arrived on scene and found the tractor trailer on its side. The driver, Savanna Purdue, 33, of North Carolina, was traveling southbound in the left lane when the incident occurred. Purdue was returning to North Carolina,” a Virginia State Police spokesman said. “The load he was carrying shifted when he was about to do so, causing the tractor trailer to overturn,” he said. “He is accused of careless driving and improper passing.”
