St. St. Louis Catholic High School student arrested for threats

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Louis Catholic High School announced that a student was arrested after making threats.

Spokesperson Kayla Vincent said that deputies were sent to the school around 9 a.m. on Nov. 5, where they learned that a 15-year-old boy was threatening to bring a gun to school.

Deputies investigating the incident said they confirmed the student had made the threat.

He was later arrested and sent to the Juvenile Detention Center for menacing.
