Former MLB star reminds Democrats by calling Trump re-election ‘dawn of a new era’

Lucroy called Trump’s re-election “the dawn of a new era,” read a post on X on Wednesday.

“The dawn of a new era. What a blessing it is to live in this great country where we can vote to make a change every 4 years,” the former Milwaukee Brewers star wrote. “The silent majority spoke out last night. They were vehemently rejecting the radical, anti-American policies of the socialist awakening.”

Lucroy opposed the inclusion of transgender people in women’s sports, calling the concept “bizarre”. He also reminded those who voted for the Harris-Walz ticket what their votes mean.

“Last night a commentator said that as a nation we were ‘auto-fixing’. The people, we the people, went and dealt with the plague that came upon us,” he added. “I am so proud to be an American today. I look forward to watching Trump, Elon, RFK and others clean up the swamp of our government.

Trump early Wednesday Received 277 electoral votesand Harris received 226 electoral votes. Trump was also winning the popular vote, with more than 71.1 million votes to Harris’ 66.2 million.
