Basil Smikle Blames Harris Loss on ‘Racism and Sexism’

MSNBC political analyst basil smile blamed the vice president Kamala Harris The election loss was due to “deep-rooted issues” such as “sexism and racism” in the country, and it was insisted that this was “not a Democratic problem”.

Smikle joins MSNBC Ana Cabrera And José Díaz-Balart Seeing the former President on Wednesday Donald Trump’s victory. Smikle argued that the Democratic “coalition” is stale and “worn out,” but also has a problem with voters tolerating “sexism and racism.”

Smikle said:

“A significant portion of the American electorate wanted to take back their country, and we will soon see what that means. There are levels of sexism and racism that many people in this country openly tolerate, and it’s also, you know, we may not have – we may have woken up in the same country, in a sense, but it’s becoming much clearer this morning. I would also say that for over a week, two weeks, three weeks, there have been conversations about Black men not doing their part. Black people did their part and did everything they had to do, including black women running, so this doesn’t go to the point Mike Memoli made earlier, which is not a democratic problem per se because it’s not a problem that can be solved. It can be solved with a campaign. “These are deep-rooted problems that we must address in our country.”

Smikle pushed back on what he called “finger-pointing” by some Democrats, pointing to some communities where they felt they weren’t getting enough votes. Smikle argued that the bigger issue to focus on is Trump’s rhetoric, citing his recent insult of the House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stopped itself in a short time to call At one of his last campaign rallies, he gave her a name that “starts with B.”

“We’ve been talking a lot over the last few weeks about who’s going to do their part and the people who need to do their part are doing their part, but I don’t want to leave anyone out,” he said. “What I want to highlight is the fact that there is blatant racism and sexism in this campaign cycle. My question is: What are we going to do about it?”
