Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry Considers Latest Milestone

Baltimore Ravens Running back Derrick Henry remains among the NFL’s all-time greats.

In the 9th week’s match against the Denver Broncos, 41-10, Henry is ranked 8th on the list of all-time leading goalscorers with 101 goals; His two touchdowns helped him officially pass legendary rushers Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk and Shaun Alexander.

Following the win, Henry said he was “grateful” to have achieved this historic goal and thanked everyone who helped him along the way.

“God has been very good to me and I am grateful,” Henry said. according to the team’s website. “Thanks to everyone who has been a part of my career (and) helped me reach this milestone. Barry Sanders is like a superhero running back, which is nice. I don’t take that lightly.”

However, he admitted that he was not very happy with his own performance. Henry finished with 23 carries for 106 yards and one catch for 27 yards, as well as two scores.

“We’re over it and that’s what it is,” Henry said. “I give credit to everyone who blocked me so that I could have the day I had. I am not happy with the game I played and I need to do better in the next match. Give credit to them for the success I had.” “For me, I’m not very happy with the game.”

In his first nine matches as a member ravens, Henry completed 168 carries for 1,052 yards and 11 touchdowns. He added nine catches for 93 yards and two scores.

Heading into Week 10’s Thursday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, he leads the league in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Henry and the Ravens will try to beat the Bengals in the regular season when the two AFC North rivals kick off at 8:15 PM ET from M&T Bank Stadium.
