MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is dead after a shooting in Midtown Wednesday morning.

Memphis Police responded to a shooting at Cleveland Avenue and Linden Boulevard around 1 a.m.

Police said the two men had a verbal argument before the shooting.

Authorities said the suspect fled the scene.
