MARION, S.C. (WMBF) – Two people are facing charges after a child was exposed to drugs in the Pee Dee, authorities said.

Kimberly Wilson, 32, and Christopher Lester, 31, were charged with unlawfully endangering a child, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

Lester and Wilson allegedly put a seven-month-old baby at risk in October by “exposing him to illegal drugs indicated by a positive drug screen,” deputies said.

Further details were not immediately available.

Records show Lester and Wilson were being held at the Marion County Detention Center on Tuesday. As of around 5pm on Tuesday, both were being held without bond.
