When will Fold 7 be released?

Samsung finally announced Galaxy Z Fold SE a few weeks ago it was the thinnest and most expensive foldable device ever. Interestingly, Galaxy Z Fold SE could be Samsung’s first foldable phone There is almost no crease in the middle of the screen. Additionally, the Special Edition device is only available in Korea and there are rumors that it will be released in China as well.

However, it seems that the Galaxy Z Fold SE has already achieved great success. SAMSUNG in its domestic market. Samsung launched two Galaxy Z Fold SE series and the phone sold out both times. While it’s unclear how many Galaxy Z Fold SE units Samsung will be able to produce, this is still a promising development.

Instead of longing for an ultra-thin Samsung foldable device that will never come to international markets, I’ll direct you to more exciting rumors about next year’s Samsung foldable devices. Samsung is apparently planning to launch a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip device, and hopefully this time the rumors are true.

We’ve seen similar rumors in early 2024: Samsung would produce two Galaxy Z Fold phones this year, including the regular Fold 6 and a cheaper version. The rumor later turned into something else and it was said that Samsung would launch a slim Fold type device. Some reports even say that no matter the market, a cheap version of the Fold 6 won’t be in stores.

We had a Galaxy Z Fold 6 model that was more expensive than its predecessor. Then the Ultra-thin Special Edition was released, offering an even higher price tag for this slim profile.

The latter turned out to be quite successful in Korea, and Samsung has already confirmed that all existing stocks have been sold out. Per SamMobileAll stocks sold through local carriers have also been sold.

Regardless of how many units Samsung produces, the success of the Galaxy Z Fold SE is great news. Buyers liked the improved form factor, which put pressure on Samsung to bring the Fold SE design to the Fold 7 next year. not following Big problem for Galaxy Z Fold 7. If the Fold SE is possible, you can’t go back to the Fold 6 design.

It will be a few months before we get a clearer picture of what’s to come, but there’s already an exciting rumor about foldable devices from Korea.

A blogger who goes by the name yeux1122 It may be well known to iPhone users who follow the rumors. The leakster offers details about devices that haven’t been released in a while. yeux1122s The latest rumor mentions some of the upcoming Galaxy devices, including new foldables.

Samsung is reportedly working on three devices that are likely to be released next spring. The list includes the Galaxy S25 Slim, Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Fold 7 models. The leakster hasn’t offered any further details about either device, and we don’t have a clear release window.

However, the Flip FE name suggests that Samsung may launch a cheaper version of the Flip 6 or Flip 7 next year. The name “FE” stands for Fan Edition, representing a more affordable, flagship-like device than the original version.

It’s unclear what to expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in this series, especially if it arrives in April. Could there be a variant of the Galaxy Z Fold SE? Or is it an “FE” device? The second option won’t make sense until the real Galaxy Z Fold 7 is released.

This year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in mid-July ahead of the Summer Olympics. I think both phones are great upgrades over their predecessors, especially the latter. However, sales were not very good. Galaxy Z Fold SE may be sold only because it is a limited edition device. It would be great to see Samsung produce cheaper (and thinner) foldables next year.
