The race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is an election that Americans are waiting with bated breath for on Election Night, which could provide an idea of what the results will be like; because the counting will extend until Wednesday. Trump voted in Palm Beach, Florida, and said it was likely his last campaign, regardless of the outcome.
Trump said there should be no violence after the election and vouched for his supporters that they are not violent people. The small recreation center turned polling station was a bit chaotic when the Trumps arrived. Helicopters flew overhead and Trump supporters wore T-shirts with the former president’s headshot. As the Trumps were leaving, Melania Trump was asked if she voted for her husband. According to NYT, he grinned at the question and chuckled a little before answering.
Kamala Harris voted in early voting and, following a family dinner, will spend Election Night at her alma mater, Howard University. Harris graduated from Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in 1986. This marks the first time in modern history that a presidential election night event will be held on a college campus.
