A Moore woman has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of her 5-year-old child, who police say was last seen in 2022.

MOORE, Okla. –

A Moore woman has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of her 5-year-old daughter, police said.

According to court records, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services was dispatched to pick up Ashley Rowland’s 5-year-old daughter in April but was unable to locate the child.

Moore Police said the child has not been seen since 2022. Investigators told them Rowland gave the girl to a man who sold meth and had not seen her since.

Rowland now faces child abandonment charges as investigators try to find the 5-year-old boy.

Police said they are not sure whether the child is alive at this stage.
