A crash early Tuesday morning closed the northbound exit of the Selmon Expressway.

The Tampa Police Department said officers are investigating a “serious injury” crash that occurred on North 22nd Street at the Selmon Expressway exit ramp.

Police are asking drivers to find an alternative route as they have closed the North 22nd Street exit at the northbound exit for investigation.
