Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Utah for the state’s six Electoral College votes. The conservative state voted in support of Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Utah with 58 percent of the vote, while Joe Biden received 38 percent of the vote. In 2016, Trump won Utah with 46 percent of the vote, while Hillary Clinton received 28 percent of the vote. Utah, a Republican stronghold thanks to its sizeable Mormon population, last voted for a Democratic presidential candidate in 1964, when it supported Lyndon B. Johnson.
