Voters fill long lines as polls open on Election Day in Springfield, Mo.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Polls are open in Missouri and the line of voters at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is already long enough to wrap around the building.

“I think this is really important because this is such a huge turning point for our country,” Annette McKinley said. McKinley lined up to vote at 4:30 a.m. “I think every vote matters. You may not think so, but it is. “It’s very important to go out and vote.”

In Missouri, polls close at 7 p.m., and voters who line up at that time can still vote.

In Arkansas, polls open at 7.30 in the morning and close at 19.30 in the evening.
