DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead and another hospitalized.

Police said the accident occurred around 8.35pm on Monday.

A 2006 Honda sedan was traveling west on Jedburg Road near McQueen Boulevard when it went off the left side of the road and overturned.

Among the injured, the driver of the car died.

There were 3 passengers in the vehicle, and 1 of them was taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The Dorchester County District Attorney has not yet released the victim’s name.
