Nevada State Police identify person killed in fatal L-11 motorcycle crash in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police have identified 37-year-old Christopher Garrett Kaiser as the victim of a fatal crash Friday morning.

State police responded to the crash near Sunset Road just before 4 a.m. Off the l-11 freeway in Henderson.

NSP reported Kaiser was riding a black 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. He was traveling eastbound on Sunset Road in the left lane while trying to enter the northbound ramp at a red light. A white 2014 Volkswagen GTI Hatchback was also turning left on the westbound ramp.

Allegedly, the vehicle went into the path of the motorcycle. The driver tried to move out of the way but was unable. Kaiser’s collision with the vehicle caused him to be ejected.

Kaiser died at the scene, police said.

NSP said they have so far investigated 63 fatal crashes in 2024, killing 71 people.

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
