Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Free DLC Update (Version 1.0.3) Available – New Demon and 6 New Travelers

After his arrival in June, Shin Megami Tensei V: Revenge has now received a free DLC update that adds a brand new demon, a new subquest, and six new demon walkers.

In case you missed the original announcement, the new travelers include Mara, Idun, Mothman, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Hell Biker and Cleopatra. Apparently there are some performance fixes as well. Here’s the full summary, courtesy of the official Atlus website:

Dear Shin Megami Tensei fans, thank you for playing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance!

Patch version 1.0.3 has been released and brings a new content update and minor bug fixes. Please see below for details:

Content additions

  • Six new Demon Routers have been added based on your community votes!
    • Added Mara, Idun, Mothman, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Hell Biker and Cleopatra.
    • These demons will appear at certain points in Da’at and can accompany you as Demon Channelers when spoken to.
    • ※ Some Demon Channelers can only be unlocked by completing certain subquests.
  • Added the “Guardian of the Light” subquest.
    • Da’at: You can accept the subquest by talking to Goko in Taito District.
  • Added Marici, a brand new demon of the Kishin race.
    • Marici can be recruited and unlocked for fusion by completing the “Guardian of the Light” subquest.
  • Added “Elite Virtual Trainers”.
    • After completing certain sub-quests, you can talk to the female researcher in the Tokyo Diet Building terminal room to engage in a series of brutal battles against the powerful demons that appear in these sub-quests.

Bug Fixes

  • Various text fixes.
  • Various graphic fixes.
  • Some corrections have been made to the English voice acting.
  • Other performance-related fixes.
