    South Jersey high school football’s first week of the postseason is in the books, and it’s been another week of outstanding performances.

    Pitman’s Trey Tinges He became the name that received the most votes last week, receiving 35.4 percent of the approximately 12 thousand votes recorded. Ryan Morley from Triton And Buena’s Benjamin Cohen finished in the top three.

    Top performers

    Cole Aquino, Washington County. The junior quarterback completed 10 of 13 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns as the Minutemen rolled to a 38-0 win over Hunterdon Central. Aquino has four multi-TD passing plays and has completed 63 percent of his throws this season.

    Darius Benjamin, Cedar Creek. The senior put up team-bests in rushing yards (67) and receiving yards (125) and found the end zone three times during the 39-14 victory over Triton. The wideout has 36 catches for 730 yards and four TDs this fall.

    Christian Braxton, Camden. The junior passed the 1,000-yard mark on the season with another rushing play in the Panthers’ 46-13 win over Middle Township. Braxton rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns, marking the fourth time in five games he rushed for more than 150 yards.

    Zack Burlingame, Kingsway. The junior kicked the extra point and iced the game with a pair of second-half field goals (35 and 23 yards) as the Dragons defeated Howell, 13-0.

    Murad Campground, Cherokee. The senior, who had under 25 yards in his previous two games, got back to work with a 28-carry, 135-yard performance during Cherokee’s 16-14 victory at Old Bridge. Campfield rushed for over 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons and over 3,000 yards in his career.

    Sah’nye Degraffenreidt, Atlantic City. “Ice Cup” caught six passes for 244 yards and five touchdowns as AC’s Vikings cooled off the East Vikings by a score of 47-14. Rutgers has 2,631 receiving yards and 37 touchdown catches; both are among the top seven marks in South Jersey history.

    Denzel Lee, Cherry Hill East. The senior rushed for 224 yards and a touchdown as the Cougars earned their first playoff win since 1991 with a 28-21 decision at Southern. Lee has surpassed the 3,000-yard mark and has 35 rushing TDs in his career.

    Cam Miller, Winslow. The Wisconsin team found the end zone three different ways with a TD run, a TD catch and a TD punt return during the Eagles’ 69-6 rout of Princeton. He has scored eight goals in his last four games.

    Khajuan Roseborough, Atlantic City. It was just another day as the senior quarterback completed 8 of 12 passes for 287 yards and a school-record six touchdowns in a 47-15 win over Eastern. Roseborough has thrown for 1,087 yards, 15 touchdowns and one interception in its last three games.

    Daniel Russo, Delsea. The senior ran for three touchdowns and finished 48th.he The best receiver in South Jersey history will surpass the 4,000-yard mark for career during the Crusaders’ 29-12 win over Burlington Township. Russo increased his rushing TD total to 54; this includes 37 in 22 games with Delsea.

    Amari Sabb, Glassboro. The junior made the most of his three catches, two of which went for touchdowns, during a 64-7 rout over Point Pleasant Beach. He finished with 140 receiving yards and eight TDs, bringing his season total to 779.

    Vinny Sacca, Delran. The junior quarterback filled the stat sheet during Delaware Valley’s 42-7 rout. He completed 10 of 13 passes for 145 yards and two scores, while rushing eight times for 45 yards and three more TDs. He found the end zone 28 times this season (14 passing, 14 rushing).

    Christopher Scott. Willingboro. The senior had touchdown runs of 48 and 80 yards to get the ball and score on defense from 50 yards out to spark the Chimeras’ 62-7 lead over Johnson.

    Anthony Tirico, Seneca. The sophomore quarterback threw for 111 yards and a 102-yard touchdown, but it was his 4-yard TD reception that clinched the Golden Eagles’ 13-10 victory over Timber Creek.

    Alex Torres is from Woodstown. The senior threw for a career-high 152 yards and two touchdowns, highlighting the Wolverines’ 31-6 victory over KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy.
