A free Magnolia Bakery vending machine is opening in New York

Did you know about New York’s iconic business? Magnolia Bakery Have you been testing a new line of frozen-thawed banana pudding products for the last three years?

Now the wait is over: the company announced that the new items will be available on DoorDash, Amazon Fresh, and more starting November 18.

To celebrate the occasion, Magnolia Bakery will be setting up a free banana pudding vending machine in Brooklyn from November 15-17.

Throughout the weekend, New Yorkers can get their hands on the iconic dessert at Cafe Balearica at 44 Berry Street next to North 11th Street in Williamsburg, from 5pm to 4am on Friday and from 2pm to 4am on Saturday and Sunday.

Cafe Balearica will also be offering a banana daiquiri along with the complimentary treat, making the whole experience that much sweeter, both literally and figuratively.

The new frozen banana pudding packages, which look just like ice cream cartons, come in three flavors: wafer cookie pieces, chocolate hazelnut swirl and red velvet cookie crumbles. While all three sound delicious, they’re definitely a step away from the classic banana pudding, which has earned the baking side of its legendary fame since opening the first store in New York in 1996.

Unfortunately, while staying true to its roots, Magnolia Bakery is diversifying its business model: just last week, the company announced that it is now selling Banana pudding flavored edibles through a partnership with Incredibles Cannabis at all RISE Dispensary locations in New York.

Of course, we’re excited to try every new product the famous local business launches.
