Three people shot in clash between Nigerian soldiers and bandits in Kaduna

At least three bloodthirsty bandits have been shot dead by Nigerian soldiers at Mai-Iddo village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Approximately four farmers, including a woman, were rescued during a gunfight between security guards and attackers.

According to Daily Trust, bandits kidnapped two farmers in Mai-Iddo village and two others, including a woman, from a farm in neighboring Arikon village last week.

On Sunday, it was reported that the victims were rescued after a raid on the bandits’ hideout in a forest in the village of Kurmin-Kare.

According to the information obtained, the soldiers, who were carrying out a clearing operation in the surrounding villages of Kagarko LGA, encountered the auxiliaries and a violent gunfight broke out, resulting in the loss of three bandits’ lives.

Efforts by DAILY POST to get a response from the Kaduna State Police Command were currently unsuccessful as its spokesman, ASP Hassan Mansur, could not be reached.
