New restaurant specializing in ‘press quesadillas’ is coming to San Luis Obispo

A new restaurant hailed by its owners as a “California coastal fresh experience” is coming to San Luis Obispo.

Hit Quesadilla Grill, located at 773 Foothill Blvd. The museum in San Luis Obispo will open on Monday, according to its owners.

The establishment will reportedly serve several types of authentic Mexican food.

Officials of the local restaurant said some of its profits will be donated to the Live Life Press On Foundation, which claims to improve and support the lives of people “getting on” through adversity.

“You walk in and you feel the experience, you feel the cool vibe of the Central Coast,” restaurant co-owner Greg Graber told KSBY. “We call it ‘press’ because we have fresh, homemade quesadillas at the press daily. (You) have a chance to create your own quesadilla or burrito bowl or salad, go to the end of the line and listen to good music.”

Graber said he plans to eventually open more than one Press Quesadilla Grill in California.
