Is there a new #1 with Travis Hunter on his bye?

There were many big moments in Week 10 of the college football season. The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions once again. The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs avoided a potential upset against the Florida Gators. The Louisville Cardinals beat the #10 Clemson Tigers in convincing fashion. These are just a few examples of great games College Football Playoff effects.

This week is full of matches, allowing some of the best athletes to show that they are worthy of competing for the title. Heisman Trophy. Colorado Buffaloes two-way superstar Travis Hunter is on his way out this weekend, which means contenders have a chance to surpass him for the No. 1 spot in our rankings.

Thanks to Cody Williams for filling in last week. Now let’s take a look at the Heisman Power rankings after Week 10.

Last Week’s Ranking: 10th place. 10.. . Ohio State WR. actor. . Jeremiah Smith. 490. Jeremiah Smith Heisman Week 10. Jeremiah Smith

The Ohio State Buckeyes pulled off a blowout win against the Penn State Nittany Lions, helping improve their chances of qualifying for the Big Ten Championship Game. Freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith had a fairly tame performance against Penn State as he hauled in four receptions for 55 yards in the 20-13 victory. Either way, Smith entered the weekend with 35 catches for 623 yards and eight touchdowns.

. actor. Last Week’s Ranking: 8th place. Bryson Daily. 945. 9.. Bryson Daily Heisman Week 10. . Army QB. Bryson Daily

The Black Army Knights, without quarterback Bryson Daily due to an undisclosed injury this week, continued their undefeated season with a 20-3 win over the Air Force Falcons. Yes, Army won without Daily, but his numbers this season were incredible. Daily threw for 909 yards and 19 touchdowns on 138 carries, while throwing for 629 yards and seven touchdowns with a 57.4 completion percentage.

actor. Alabama QB. Jalen Milroe. Jalen Milroe Heisman Week 10. 8.. 523. . Last Week’s Ranking: 7th place. Jalen Milroe

The Alabama Crimson Tide had a bye this week. Jalen Milroe had a week off from throwing for 215 yards and rushed for 50 yards against Missouri. Milroe looked like a surefire Heisman finalist early in the season. But now? Milroe continues to fall further and further down in our rankings. There’s still time for Milroe to turn his season around.

Jaxson Dart. . Ole Miss QB. 532. 7. player. Jaxson Dart Heisman Week 10 Roundup Rankings: No. 9. Jaxson Dart.

It’s great to have Jaxson Dart back from his bye week. Darts and Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 63-31, improving the score to 7-2 on the season. Dart completed an astonishing 25 of 31 pass attempts for 515 yards and six touchdowns. True, there were as many passes as well as goals that Darts failed to complete. Additionally, Dart collected 47 yards on 10 carries. It’s been a good outing for the Darts as the team looks to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.

6. Clemson QB. Last Week’s Ranking: 5th place. Cade Klubnik. 432. Cade Klubnik. Cade Klubnik Heisman Week 10. . actor

It was a tough Week 10 for the Clemson Tigers, who had no answers against the Louisville Cardinals. Clemson’s defense had no answer for Louisville’s running game, which amassed 210 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik wasn’t at the top of his game Saturday, completing 33-of-56 pass attempts for 228 yards and a touchdown in the 33-21 loss. Don’t let the final score fool you, because Louisville was up 26-7 at the end of the third quarter.

Shedeur Sanders. 5. Shedeur Sanders. . Colorado QB. Last Week’s Ranking: 6th player. 514. Shedeur Sanders Heisman Week 10.

Like Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders also said goodbye this weekend. There is. There’s no denying that Sanders is one of the best quarterbacks in the country and has had some Heisman moments of his own, most notably the comeback win against Baylor. Sanders has thrown for 2,591 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions this season. Colorado’s games the rest of the year become even more important as they are serious Big 12 contenders after losses to Iowa State and Kansas State this weekend.

Dillon Gabriel Heisman Week 10. 515. Oregon QB. Last Week’s Ranking: 3rd place. Dillon Gabriel. 4.. . . Dillon Gabriel. actor

While USC, Washington and UCLA compete in the Big Ten conference for the first time, the Oregon Ducks are improving. Great quarterback play paired with electric complementary players and a solid scheme is the recipe for success. Dillon Gabriel has been everything the Ducks could have hoped for, especially after losing Bo Nix to the NFL.

On Saturday, Oregon picked up another big win over Big Ten mainstays in the Michigan Wolverines. It was especially so. Great victory of 38-17. However, Gabriel did not light up the statistical tables as in previous weeks. Gabriel threw for 294 yards and a touchdown while completing 22 of 34 pass attempts and had 23 yards and a touchdown on three carries.

Being the quarterback of the No. 1 team in the country will move them up the rankings. But there were better performances for Gabriel this week, despite Travis Hunter’s farewell.

3.. Last Week’s Ranking: 2nd place. Ashton Jeanty. Ashton Jeanty. Ashton Jeanty Heisman Week 10. . actor. Boise State RB. 502

Last week, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty had a pretty “normal” performance against UNLV. And by that, we mean rushing for 128 yards and a touchdown averaging 3.9 yards per carry. Last Friday, Jeanty returned to form against San Diego State.

Jeanty had a big game in Boise State’s 56-32 win; He rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries, while also catching two passes for 31 yards. While this was a good showing for Jeanty, doing it against San Diego State was unlikely to always increase his chances of winning the Heisman. If Jeanty doesn’t wreck against Nevada, San Jose State, Wyoming and Oregon State over the next four weeks or break Barry Sanders’ single-season rushing record, Jeanty may fall short of winning college football’s most prestigious individual award.

. Miami QB. 834. . Glass Ward. Glass Ward. 2. player. Cam Ward Heisman Week 10 Roundup Rankings: 4th Place

Cam Ward has become the rising star of college football and the 2025 NFL Draft. Miami and head coach Mario Cristobal appear to be geniuses at landing Ward from the transfer portal via Washington State. Ward has showcased the ability to put the team on their backs, make tremendous innings, and lead the Hurricanes to win after win.

On Saturday, Ward had to take on Duke, which has one of the best pass defenses in the country. At one point, Duke led Miami 28-17 early in the third quarter. But then Ward put the pedal to the metal and ensured the Hurricanes took the lead and didn’t look back. Ward threw three second-half touchdown passes (a three-yard and 66-yard pass to Xavier Restrepo and a 49-yard pass to Jacolby George) to lead Miami to a 53–31 victory.

Ward completed 25-of-41 pass attempts for 400 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Another impressive outing for Ward, who should no doubt earn an invitation to the Heisman Trophy ceremony at the end of the season.

Colorado DB/WR. Last Week’s Ranking: 1. 514th player. . 1…Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter Heisman Week 10. travis hunter

Even after his bye, Travis Hunter is still the No. 1 seed in the Heisman standings. What Hunter does both offensively and defensively is incredible. He is the college football version of Shohei Ohtani due to his elite skills as a wide receiver and cornerback.

This season, Hunter recorded 60 receptions for 757 yards and eight touchdowns as a receiver, while recording 20 total tackles (13 solo, seven assists), seven passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Colorado’s games are becoming increasingly important as the path to the College Football Playoff becomes clearer. However, there will be more eyes on Hunter and he will have the opportunity to become the Heisman favorite.
