A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after police say they are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a mother and daughter during a home invasion in New Jersey.

Catherine Nunez, 33, and her mother, Marisol Nunez, 54, were found dead in an upstairs bedroom of their Willingboro home early Wednesday, the Burlington County District Attorney’s Office said.

Junior Edwards, 37, of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, as well as additional charges related to alleged home invasion and gun possession, prosecutors said. a statement It was published on Saturday.

Authorities had stated before the arrest that they believed the crime was not random and that they did not think other residents in the neighborhood were at risk.
