Angel Garza is out.

One message on facebookGarza explained that he recently had surgery to remove ganglion cysts in his wrist and will undergo physical therapy soon. On Friday, he shared a photo taken at the hospital with the caption “surgery day.”

Garza also shared photos on Instagram his hand is in plaster.

Garza, along with his cousin Humberto Carrillo, last wrestled on the October 18 episode of SmackDown, where they lost a match to the Motor City Machine Guns in their WWE debut in A-Town Down Under. They appeared on a segment last week where General Manager Adam Pearce said they would earn a title shot in the future if they defeated one of SmackDown’s newest teams.

After a stint in NXT, Angel and Berto re-debuted on SmackDown earlier in the year as the newest incarnation of Legado del Fantasma, alongside Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez.

In July, Garza recently Re-signed with WWE.
