The world’s No. 1 golfer has turned a lot of heads over the years as he continues to drive the 2012 GMC Yukon XL his father gifted him after college.

“I’d be more than happy to keep Scottie’s car in my garage,” he said after submitting the offer.

The money raised from Scheffler’s car will be donated to Triumph Over Kid Cancer (TOKC), a non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research.

TOKC was founded by Scheffler’s childhood friend, James Ragan.

Ragan was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and often fatal form of bone cancer, when he was 13 and battled the disease for seven and a half years.

Nantz, reporting CBS news masters The tournament has been held since 1989, and it was previously mentioned that he met Ragan at one of the “Lunch with a Legend” events.

Nantz’s generous bid was enough to win the live auction, but he still might not be able to walk away with Scheffler’s old car.

The $50,000 figure represents the opening bid when the auction will restart online at a later date.
