4 people shot at Midtown Reno bar, suspect still at large

Police are still searching for the suspect who shot four people at a Midtown bar early Saturday morning.

Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to S. Virginia St. just after midnight on Nov. 2. to Shea’s Tavern, located in the 700 block, reporting shots fired in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately began providing medical assistance. REMSA arrived at the scene and all victims were transported to hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect of this armed attack has still not been caught. Authorities say they believe this is an isolated incident that poses no threat to the public.

More than two dozen police officers and other first responders could be seen outside the bar in the hours after the shooting.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. The Reno Police Department is asking people to stop at S. Virginia St. from California Ave. to Cheney. He wants them to stay away from his area.
