Argument

At 900 AM GMT (0900 UTC), the center of Subtropical Storm Patty was located near latitude 39.9 North and longitude 34.4 West. The storm is moving east-southeast at approximately 11 km/h. A faster movement to the east-southeast is expected throughout tonight, followed by a turn to the east and east-northeast on Sunday and Monday.

Maximum sustained winds are around 50 mph (85 km/h), with higher gusts possible. Little change in intensity is expected today, but gradual weakening is expected through early next week. Patty may strengthen into a post-tropical hurricane late Sunday.

Winds of 40 mph extend outward from the center for up to 205 miles (335 km).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 986 mb (29.12 inches).
