Thanksgiving is right around the corner, which means the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is coming up, too. to celebrate NBC announced Featured artists, all-star shows and new shows audiences can expect to see in the 98th edition of the iconic tradition.

Additionally, the 2024 Macy’s Parade lineup is its largest ever, with more than 5,000 volunteers, 17 featured character balloons, 22 balloons, 15 heritage and innovation balloons, more than 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, 10 performing groups, and some of music’s greatest will be. the stars… all coming together to welcome Santa and kick off the holiday season.

As always, this year’s Macy’s Parade will feature appearances and performances from a wide variety of celebrities, including Bishop Briggs, Kylie Cantrall, Chlöe, Dan + Shay, Dasha, and more. Competitive dancer Charli D’Amelio and ballet dancers Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia will also perform. New York Liberty members will also make special appearances, along with Jonathan Bennett, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tom Kenny, Ginna Claire Mason and Ellie the Elephant.

Every year, performers from some of Broadway’s biggest shows take to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade stage to spread their talents across the country. This year’s official national broadcast will include performances of the Great White Way Death Happens to Him, Hell’s KitchenAnd outsiders, as well as the iconic Radio City Rockettes.

Floats and balloons

Of course, it wouldn’t be a parade without balloons and floats, and this year promises to be bigger than ever in that regard. Along with the usual fan favorites, Macy’s Parade will also debut six new floats, including Haribo’s Candy Cosmos; Dora’s Fantasy Rainforest, produced by Nickelodeon and Paramount; Magic Meets the Seas from Disney Cruise Line; Pasta Knight from Rao’s Homemade; Netflix’s Masterfeast; and the Bronx Zoo’s Wonderful World of Wildlife. New special units for the 2024 Macy’s Parade include Strikes Again! from Go Bowling; Nickelodeon’s The Garriage, a whimsical car modeled after SpongeBob’s pet snail; and Grandmother’s Car from BBC Studios Bluish.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air live on NBC from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday, November 28. The parade, which begins on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and ends at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store, will also be simulcast on Peacock and, if you miss it, will reair on NBC at 2pm ET/PT.
