Austin ISD officials say old campus is a ‘plus’ and will make money in the future

AISD trustees passed a 7-1 resolution to consider the former Rosedale School campus, located at 2117 W. 49th St., Austin, as redundant. Officials said the district no longer meets “future district needs.” The decision clears the way for district officials to monetize the campus by renting or selling the 4.62 acres of land, according to district documents.
