Ryan Reynolds’ entire goofy persona may be an act.

While appearing on Bilt Rewards’ November “Rent Free” game show with Founder and CEO Ankur Jain, Martha Stewart claimed that her neighbor, the “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, isn’t as stupid as fans believe.

“You want to know something? “He’s not that funny in real life,” the 83-year-old lifestyle guru said. “No, he’s not that funny. He’s very serious.”

She mentioned Reynolds, 48, as she tried to guess who participants listed as the funniest celebrities to hang out with.

“He’s probably on the list because he hides himself in his movies and you can’t see his face,” he joked.

She then speculated if Brad Pitt and George Clooney made the cut, but they didn’t.

“I’d like to hang out with these guys,” he said.

“It’s really nice hanging out with George,” Stewart later added.

Even though he was wrong about Hollywood heartaches, Stewart said he’s sure of it. close friend Snoop Doggwould be on the list.

When asked to list the things he prefers most, “Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen” the writer eventually identified “sweet” Taylor Swift as the first choice, followed by Snoop and then Clooney.

Stewart clarified his thoughts further when Jain expressed his shock at Reynolds’ omission from the rankings.

“He’s a good actor,” he agreed. “He may act funny, but he’s not funny.”

“Maybe he can start being funny again.”

“I’m going to get in trouble,” he added playfully. “He’s my neighbor.”

Stewart became friends with Reynolds and Lively, 37, when they bought a house in his neighborhood.
